Tea Serving Cart
TEAO is a cart for serving tea cups on large tables.
It is a bug solving project in order to bring convenience to people.
It combines the creative new design with traditional tea culture features.
Background
Born in china, my family and friends used to make tea everyday. It is very common for us to share tea with each other when inviting friends and chatting with others. I have seen tea making process a million times since I was young, but in the bug project, I begin to see tea making in a different perspective and search for some inconvenience and bugs in the daily process.
The first thing that I noticed is that most tea table are very big. When there are a group of people sitting around, it is hard for the tea serving person to pass tea to each person. The serving person usually needs somebody else to pass the tea cups to each person. When passing, the conversation is interrupted, people needs to pass tea cups around, and the tea sometimes spills on the table.
